Throw is a four-piece punk-hardcore band from the Philippines.

The band was conceived in November 2000 by Al Dimalanta (vocalist, guitar player, and songwriter of the 80s hardcore group Dead Ends) and Dennis Maniego (former bass player of the punkabilly outfit Private Stock).  Al and Dennis recruited Ojie Arcega and Bimboi San Pedro, drummer and guitar player, respectively, of a Bulacan-based hardcore band called T.S.A. This was to be the first-generation incarnation of Throw. The band came up with an independently produced self-titled debut album in April 2002.

The band had to make some personnel changes when Ojie and Bimboi left the country to work in Singapore. Al decided to play the guitar again and he and Dennis recruited Bad Omen guitar player and lead singer Albert Ascona to do the second guitar chores. They also recruited then-sixteen-year-old Spyk Maniego to man the drums. The band then came up with their long-overdue second album Unwavering in July 2008.

The band’s third album Believe was launched in February of 2010.

Albert had to leave the band in 2010 due to personal reasons. The band then recruited MAD and Against Man guitarist Alan Roldan to play the second guitar and, after a few months, released a six-song EP entitled Wag Kalimutan ang Ingay late 2010. In August of 2014, Throw released its fourth independently produced album Stand, a 23-song opus.

The band’s current line-up has Al Dimalanta on vocals and guitar, Dennis Maniego on bass, Alan Roldan on guitar, and Spyk Maniego on drums.
